All food, drink and experiences are paid for out of my own pocket. While I do attend the odd complimentary invite, menu launch or special event, these will always be fully disclosed and reviews will still be conducted with professionalism, respect and honesty. I have had great discussions with chefs, front of house staff, head-brewers and producers in the past and it has always been paramount to me to maintain this trust from these people, while giving constructive feedback where appropriate.
Lastly, I’ve made a conscious choice not to include ads on this site at this moment, however links or product placements may appear in the future and I do withhold the right to include ad space in the future to help continue to provide this site.
About the Photos:
People say the first bite we take is with our eyes. For me, having appealing pictures is essential to a good food site and while I’m no pro-photographer, it is something I am continuing to seek to improve on. I’m a big believer in no flash photography so the quality may vary, but hopefully working with my Sony RX100-MKII (which is an outstanding portable camera by the way) or my shiny new Sony A7III and getting a better understanding of Lightroom’s Denoise capability will see an improvement as I continue to learn more.
